Unpolished stones are a favorite of mine. They always seem earthier and somehow more grounded then their polished up siblings. Here is a perfect example of an unpolished Ruby, set simply in sterling silver. The sterling chain has been wrapped with sterling wire and faceted ruby beads to make a rosary style chain with sterling lobster clasp.
